SLOW & LOW: CHICAGO LOWRIDER FESTIVAL
Saturday, October 11, 2025 | 10AM-8PM
Slow & Low: Chicago Lowrider Festival returns to Navy Pier with over 250 meticulously customized cars, bikes, and motorcycles in the city’s largest celebration of Lowrider culture.
Founded in 2011, the festival brings together more than 60 clubs for a vibrant tribute to creativity, tradition, and community. Unlike a typical car show, Slow & Low is a cultural gathering—where families, artists, and strangers come together to honor the people and stories behind the machines.
Rooted in 1940s Chicano and Latino communities, the Lowrider movement has grown into a powerful American folk and contemporary art form—and a global phenomenon still grounded in resistance, beauty, and identity.
In partnership with Navy Pier, the festival remains affordable, inclusive, and open to all—uplifting a vital Chicago voice and celebrating the enduring legacy of Lowrider culture.
