Navy Pier’s Global Connections series invites families to explore
diverse cultures through a series of free, interactive celebrations.
Each event brings vibrant performances, music, dance, art, and activities, offering a unique opportunity to experience traditions from around the world. Whether celebrating the Lunar New Year, International Carnivale, Holi, or Mexico Fest, these events provide fun for all ages.
Saturday, February 1
Lunar New Year
Join us for the free Global Connections Lunar New Year celebration at Navy Pier!
The Aon Grand Ballroom will be transformed into a festive, interactive, and family-friendly celebration marking the Year of the Wood Snake.

Join us for the free Global Connections International Carnivale celebration at Navy Pier!
A global tradition, celebrated in many unique ways, will come to life in the Aon Grand Ballroom.

Holi
Join us for the free Global Connections celebration of Holi at Navy Pier!
This event will feature live music, dance, and interactive programming in the Aon Grand Ballroom, plus the iconic powder throwing and DJs outdoors in Navy Pier’s Beer Garden.

Mexico Fest
