U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds Panel Discussion + Meet-and-Greet
In celebration of the 2026 Chicago Air and Water Show, Navy Pier welcomes members of the U.S. Air Force Thunderbirds for a special evening at the Ferrara Candy Wave Wall Stage on Wednesday, August 12 at 6:30 PM.
Guests can enjoy an in-depth panel discussion, meet-and-greet experience and interactive VR activations. Moderated by Herb Hunter, retired U.S. Air Force pilot and voice of the Chicago Air and Water Show for the past 20 years, the panel will offer a behind-the-scenes look at the dedication, skill and teamwork behind the Thunderbirds’ thrilling aerial performances.
After the event, stay for Summer Fireworks at 9 PM!
