Giving Her Her Flowers Workshop

Giving Her her Flowers Workshop

Join artist Dana Todd Pope as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a free workshop led by the artists of Women’s LIVE Artist Studio.

Celebrate the remarkable contributions of living Chicago Black women in Giving Her Her Flowers, a workshop inspired by the Navy Pier exhibition curated by Dana Todd Pope. Participants will create meaningful art pieces that honor and express gratitude for the powerful women shaping their communities today.

Note: Artist break from 2:30PM-3PM

This workshop is important because it provides a space to reflect on and celebrate the incredible impact of Black women in Chicago who are shaping their communities through strength, creativity, and leadership. By creating art inspired by their contributions, participants engage in a meaningful act of recognition, ensuring their stories are acknowledged and appreciated.
