A Friendly, Furry Reminder: Navy Pier is the People’s Pier, but did you know it’s also a dog-friendly destination? Enjoy the dog days of summer with your very own dog at the Pier. From strolling to dining, there is tons to do with your pup at Navy Pier. Bring a leash for them, a mask for you and we’ll see you soon!
Walk the Pier
At Chicago’s iconic lakefront destination, there are many places to walk outside with your dog and take in the city and lake sights. Stroll on the South Dock and enjoy views of Lake Michigan, cruises and more. If you make it to the East End Plaza, you’ll experience open vistas and more gorgeous views of the water!
Play in the Park
Polk Bros Park is a free and open to the public park right at the front entrance of the Pier! With a fountain and two performance lawns, the open spaces will be a blast for your dog to enjoy. Summer is the time to play, so get outside with your favorite furry friend at the Pier!
Enjoy a Free Outdoor Program
Head to the Pier for a free arts and cultural program such as Water Flicks, free movies in the park, Water Colors, the Pier’s weekly jazz series and more. At these outdoor events, your dog is more than welcome to enjoy the Pier’s vibrant programming, too. Click here to view the entire calendar of upcoming events
If you’re looking to enjoy a great meal at the Pier, choose from a restaurant with an outdoor patio including Harry Caray’s Tavern to have your dog join you for dinner! Check out all of the dining options at the Pier here.
