Plan your costumes, pack up your pets, and join us at Harry Caray’s Navy Pier for our annual Howl-O-Ween Pet Costume Contest benefitting PAWS Chicago!
Celebrate spooky season with your pet in tow on Saturday, October 31st, from 11:30 AM–1:30 PM. Furry, feathered, or full of scales— pets of all kinds are welcome to participate and compete for prizes in the following categories:
- Most Creative
- Cutest
- Spookiest
- Best Ensemble or Pair (human/pet or pet pairs)
- Grand Prize: Best in Show
Winners in each category will take home fang-tastic prizes, including:
- A pair of tickets for a dog-friendly Seadog speedboat ride, courtesy of City Cruises
- Passes for the Navy Pier Centennial Wheel, courtesy of Navy Pier
- A $25 gift certificate to Harry Caray’s Navy Pier, and more!
The Best in Show winner will also receive a Navy Pier Stay-Cation Package featuring a one-night stay at Sable Hotel, breakfast for two at Lirica, two tickets to a Chicago Shakespeare Theater performance of their choice, and a $100 gift certificate for dinner at Harry Caray’s Navy Pier.
Returning as our paw-some emcee and one of three contest judges is none other than Candace Jordan!
Entry is just $10 per pet, with all proceeds benefitting PAWS Chicago. Spectators— both human and pet— are welcome to attend for free!
Yappy Hour with Tito’s Handmade Vodka
Throughout the morning, Tito’s Handmade Vodka will host an on-site Yappy Hour featuring samples for humans, a treat bar for pups, a dog tag machine, pet swag, and more! As a sponsor of this year’s event, Tito’s is also contributing to the prize packages and making a generous donation directly to PAWS Chicago. Stop by their table to check out all their paw-some offerings!
