CHICAGO – Harry Caray’s Tavern Navy Pier will celebrate the kick-off of Bears season with the first of its home gameday Park, Tailgate, and Sail events on Sunday, Sept. 10, from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. Fans who get the party started with a delicious tailgate menu and gameday drink specials at Harry’s Tavern can skip the hassles of getting to the game with discounted Pier parking and complimentary, door-to-door water taxi service to Soldier Field.

For next Sunday’s season opener, Harry’s Tavern will partner with pioneering artist-athlete collab round21. Artists will be creating sports-themed art live on-site, hosting trivia, and raffling off a round21 Sport Pack valued at $250.

Other 2023 Park, Tailgate, and Sail events are scheduled for 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. on Sundays Oct. 1, Oct. 15, and Oct. 22.

Home gameday parking at Navy Pier is available for a reduced rate of $25 with validation from Harry Caray’s Tavern. The parking offer is valid for self-parked cars in Navy Pier garages at 600 E. Grand on the day of the tailgate. Cars may park in the garage three hours prior to game time until up to three hours postgame.

Before the game, Harry’s Tavern guests can enjoy delicious food and beverage specials including drinks from Bacardi and Patrón, and Mix-N-Match buckets with their choice of Sam Adams, Truly Wild Berry, Angry Orchard, and Twisted Tea.

Fans receive free round-trip transportation to and from Soldier Field via the scenic Shoreline Water Taxi, weather permitting. A $20 guest deposit is required to reserve Shoreline tickets. The deposit will be applied to guests’ tailgate food and drink bill (does not apply to gratuity and tax).

About Navy Pier:

Located on Lake Michigan, Navy Pier is the top nonprofit tourism destination in the Midwest, stretching more than six city blocks and typically welcoming nearly 9 million annual guests. Originally opened in 1916 as a shipping and recreation facility, this Chicago landmark showcases more than 50 acres of parks, restaurants, attractions, retail shops, sightseeing and dining cruise boats, exposition facilities and more. The Pier celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016 with the unveiling of the iconic Centennial Wheel, Polk Bros Park, Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion and Peoples Energy Welcome Pavilion. In 2021, Navy Pier continued to usher in its second century with ongoing Pier-wide redevelopment efforts—including Sable, a 223-room Hilton hotel, new restaurants and partnerships, and thrilling additions to Pier Park. The Pier is also proud to continue providing free, year-round arts and cultural programming designed to inspire, educate and connect communities across the city and globe.
