Director Tyrone Phillips reimagines Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night in the Caribbean, blending Carnival’s spirit and music into a lively adaptation. Enjoy a 45-minute pop-up performance and interactive activities inspired by the play, part of Chicago Shakespeare Theater’s Shakes in the City initiative, offering free, accessible programming across Chicago’s neighborhoods.
*30 minutes before the performance on July 21, teaching artist Sadira Muhammad will be leading Afro-Caribbean dance lessons for all skill levels. Get on your feet and have some fun!
