Chi-Soul Festival Lawn Party
Yes, you can bring your own chair, but don’t plan on using it because Chi-Soul Fest will keep you on your feet all day Saturday, June 11 in Polk Bros Park. Navy Pier’s annual alchemy of concert and lawn party kicks off—or rather steps up—from noon to 2p with DJ Mr. Lee spinning every Motown classic worth stepping to. DJ Leon Rogers takes over at 2p-4p dance music, featuring hot hip-hop hits from the 90’s.
Then Grammy Award winning DJ Maurice Joshua brings down the house with his brand of Chicago house music that’s sure to get even those empty chairs dancing.
Comedian Damon Williams delivers laughs between the sets as Master of Ceremonies.
