Navy Pier Crowned ‘Best Place to See Fireworks’ for Second Consecutive Year
CHICAGO— Navy Pier has successfully defended its title as “Best Place to See Fireworks” in the 2024 USA TODAY 10Best Readers’ Choice Travel Awards contest. This victory comes after Navy Pier was crowned the category winner by the public in 2023. Nominees for all categories are chosen by a panel of travel experts which include a combination of editors from USA TODAY; editors from 10Best.com; relevant contributors; and sources for both these media and other Gannett properties.
“We are incredibly honored to have Navy Pier voted as the ‘Best Place to See Fireworks’ in the nation for another year,” said Navy Pier President and CEO Marilynn Gardner. “This recognition is a testament to the joy and wonder our Summer Fireworks bring to both locals and visitors from around the world. Our heartfelt thanks go out to our dedicated community of partners, supporters, and everyone who voted for us. We look forward to continuing to light up the sky and create unforgettable memories for all who visit Navy Pier.”
Free Summer Fireworks at Navy Pier will return Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day weekend. Chicago’s favorite sky spectacle, set to popular and special occasion soundtracks, will take place every Wednesday at 9 p.m. and Saturdays at 10 p.m.
“We are deeply honored to have continuously provided one of Chicago’s most beloved spectacles,” said Pyrotecnico President & CEO Stephen Vitale. “Our family’s passion for fireworks has been shared with American families since the early 1900s, and partnering with Navy Pier to create these unforgettable displays is a privilege. We cherish the opportunity to bring joy and wonder to the residents and visitors of Chicago year after year.”
