Discover the magic of science at the ACS Kids Zone: Into the Woods with Chemistry!

Hosted at the Navy Pier, this event brings the theme of construction inspired chemistry to life through interactive experiences! Children and families will explore how chemistry is an integral part of their world through hands-on activities.

Young learners will be guided by local chemists, college chemistry students, and volunteer scientists from the American Chemical Society’s Committee on Community Activities (CCA) . Every activity is designed to spark curiosity, build scientific understanding, and make learning memorable.

Families can look forward to interactive STEM stations, educational giveaways, and a special themed activity coloring book to take home.
