Santa Sets Sail
for the North Pole
Saturday, December 23 activities from Noon-9PM
Powered by festive cheer, Santa will embark on his 4,622 nautical mile journey to the North Pole aboard the Shoreline II and against the celebratory backdrop of Navy Pier’s award-winning Winter Fireworks on Saturday, December 23 at 9:00PM.
Guests will have the opportunity to join in the fun throughout the day by visiting Reunion Restaurant’s Santa’s Southern Workshop from noon to 6:30PM, capturing memories with Santa photo opps.
From 6:30PM to 9:00 PM, the whole family can feast on holiday-inspired dinner specials at Harry Caray’s Lakefront Lodge while getting a photo taken with Santa. Enjoy live music and entertainment featuring Chicago local and musician Steve Lydell who will have you and your children singing and dancing to holiday classics.
The evening will culminate with Navy Pier’s signature Fireworks at 9PM along the South Dock as Santa officially sets sail before his busiest night of the year.
Shoreline Sightseeing’s Hot Chocolate Cruise will get guests into the holiday spirit with twinkling lights, cheerful music, and breathtaking views of the Chicago skyline, departing at 5:30PM, 6:30PM, and 7:30PM throughout the weekend.
