Food is universal and connects us to the indelible moments in our lives we would never want to lose to Alzheimer’s or all other dementia.
Join longtime Chicago resident and TV personality Chef Art Smith on Thursday, June 1 – the first day of Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month – for a special four-course dinner that will feature dishes that pay homage to the important women in Chef Art’s life – his mother, grandmother, and aunt, all of whom he lost to Alzheimer’s disease.
Chef Art and the Alzheimer’s Association will kick off the event at 6:30 p.m. CT at Chef’s restaurant, Reunion on Navy Pier. Fifty percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter.
We look forward to you joining us for a night of fun and delicious food that supports a worthy cause.
