Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks: A Hero Within

Chicago Shakespeare in the Parks will offer free pop-up performances in Polk Bros Park on Tuesday, July 25 and Wednesday, July 26 at 6:30PM.
The world needs heroes! Where do we find them? Weaving together popular music and multidisciplinary performances with favorite scenes and speeches from Shakespeare’s plays, The Hero Within explores how can we all be heroes in our everyday lives—for ourselves, our families, and our communities. These FREE pop-up performances unite neighborhood artists from Austin, Chinatown, Englewood, Hermosa, Belmont Cragin, Little Village, and West Pullman with Chicago Shakespeare performers for a fun-for-all-ages production. There are two performances at Polk Bros Park at Navy Pier, followed by pop-up performances Chicago Park District parks in neighborhoods across the city.
