Paint the Town Red

10AM & 5PM Performances

Paint the Town Red is one of Uniting Voices Chicago’s (formerly Chicago Children’s Choir) most anticipated events of the year, bringing together young singers from across the city for a joyful day of music and community. In two free sessions, one in the morning and one in the evening, singers from every level of Uniting Voices’ programs will sing in pop-up performances featuring an inspiring mix of original music, global songs, and beloved classics.

The morning session on the Lake Stage features Uniting Voices Chicago’s School Program singers.

The evening session on the Ferrera Candy Wave Wall Stage showcases Uniting Voices Chicago Neighborhood Choir programs, Dimension, and Voice of Chicago singers.

Uniting Voices Chicago (formerly Chicago Children’s Choir) is a nonprofit organization that empowers and unites youth from diverse backgrounds to find their voice and celebrate their common humanity through the power of music. Founded in 1956 and inspired by the Civil Rights Movement, Uniting Voices Chicago provides accessible music education to youth ages 6-18 from every zip code of Chicago. Serving nearly 4,000 students across 85 school programs, 12 Neighborhood Choir programs, and two city-wide ensembles, Uniting Voices is taking the next step to empower the next generation of global leaders.
