CHICAGO—Navy Pier is proud to announce our new partnership with Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling (RCCB) as the official non-alcoholic beverage partner for the entire Pier. In celebration of this new venture, we are giving out free Coca-Cola ice cream floats at Polk Bros Park on Friday, Oct. 21 and Saturday, Oct. 22 from 11:00 am – 2:00 p.m.

“We are so grateful to enter a new era in partnership with Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling. RCCB is known for its support of nonprofit organizations and venues throughout the Midwest,” said Navy Pier President and CEO Marilynn Gardner. “They have a strong passion for the communities in which they operate, and we are thrilled to make RCCB the official partner for Navy Pier.”

On Oct. 21 – Oct. 22, while guests enjoy free Coca-Cola and vanilla ice cream floats and other giveaways, they can hop into the Coca-Cola Volkswagen Bus to capture a candid moment with their family and friends or stop by the Coca-Cola branded backdrop to get a printed photo or post on social media.

With this new partnership, all vending machines and restaurants across Navy Pier will serve Coca-Cola products including Coca-Cola®, Coca-Cola® Zero Sugar, Diet Coke®, Sprite®, DASANI®, smartwater®, POWERADE®, and Gold Peak® tea, starting on November 1.

“Navy Pier is a true icon of Chicago, and we are thrilled to partner with them to bring Coca-Cola brands to guests as they enjoy the exciting experience that the Pier offers,” said Pat Witte, Reyes Coca-Cola Bottling Midwest Chief Customer Officer. “We have strong ties to Chicago and look forward to serving the community together for many years to come.”

In addition to recycling call-to-action signage, beverage options available at the Pier will include DASANI® water in bottles made from 100% recycled PET (polyethylene terephthalate) plastic bottles (excluding caps and labels).

About Navy Pier

Located on Lake Michigan, Navy Pier is the top nonprofit tourism destination in the Midwest, stretching more than six city blocks and typically welcoming nearly 9 million annual guests. Originally opened in 1916 as a shipping and recreation facility, this Chicago landmark showcases more than 50 acres of parks, restaurants, attractions, retail shops, sightseeing and dining cruise boats, exposition facilities and more.

The Pier celebrated its 100th anniversary in 2016 with the unveiling of the iconic Centennial Wheel, Polk Bros Park, Family Pavilion and Peoples Energy Welcome Pavilion. In 2021, Navy Pier continued to usher in its second century with ongoing Pier-wide redevelopment efforts—including Sable, a 223-room Hilton hotel, new restaurants and partnerships, and thrilling additions to Pier Park.
