In honor of Navy Pier’s 107th Birthday and National Ice Cream Month, join us on Saturday, July 15th for a joyful celebration filled with sweet memories!
From 1 pm to 3 pm, visit Polk Bros Park for an ice cream social. Pick-up a free treat-sized Blue Bunny Ice Cream, Halo Top, Bomb Pop, or Blue Ribbon Classics Ice Cream, while supplies last.
At 9:45 pm, gather on the East End of the Pier to view a dazzling display of 300 synchronized drones – the first of its kind at Navy Pier! The drone show titled “Sweeten Your Summer” will showcase a whimsical presentation choreographed to lively music while paying tribute to one of America’s sweetest treats – ICE CREAM! “Sweeten Your Summer” features 300 drones forming delicious images. The sky graphics will be larger than the size of a football field. This dazzling spectacle is sponsored by Blue Bunny Ice Cream, Halo Top, Bomb Pop, and Blue Ribbon Classics!
The Pier’s Fireworks Show, which was voted the best in the nation by USA Today, will follow at 10:00 pm to sprinkle some sparkle on your summer.
Join us for a memorable evening filled with sweet treats and dazzling skies and celebrate National Ice Cream Month and 107 years of the People’s Pier.
