Summer is here, and so are we. Welcome home, Chicago.

Welcome Home, Chicago

Last week we were proud to join many other local Chicago businesses and institutions reopening for guests again. We’ve always been The People’s Pier, and it just hasn’t been the same here on the Pier without, well, people!

We also wouldn’t be The People’s Pier if we weren’t looking out for your safety. Rest assured, we’re taking that more seriously now more than ever. You can read more about all of our extra safety precautions, new procedures, Social Distance Ambassadors, and new methods of cleaning here.

With that in mind, read on to find out what’s in store for you over here on the lake.

What we're doing to keep you safe

Free Parking

Okay, we know no one goes somewhere just for free parking--but we thought we better get it out of the way before you go any further. Parking in our two parking garages is free to you during our Phase 1 Reopening. That gives you the time and convenience to enjoy everything else we have to offer. Such as...

Outdoor dining

Is there a better way to spend a lazy summer afternoon than eating and drinking in the sun?

Yes. Eating and drinking in the sun next to our beautiful lake.

And that’s just what you’ll find here at Navy Pier. All of our businesses with outdoor dining options are now open for you to enjoy.

Outdoor Fun

We’re blessed with some of the most majestic outdoor areas in Chicago. The beautiful view of our lake is accompanied by wonderful outdoor spaces to relax, take a stroll, or spend an afternoon in.

If you want to stretch your sea legs out on the lake, the lakefront cruises are reopening with new safety measures to ensure that your trip out on the water is as safe as can be.

And while the Pier Park isn’t open yet, please know that we are working to get it ready for your summertime enjoyment very soon.

Retail therapy (with room to breathe)

Online shopping has its place, but we’re sure you’d love to actually see stuff up close after a few months behind the computer screen.

Soon we’ll be opening the doors to the Pier to allow people to shop at the many amazing stores that call our space home. With new safety standards in place, you’ll be able to browse for that perfect item without saving bookmarks on your browser for later.

We're ready for you

With our phased openings, safety measures, and new protocols in place, this all means one thing: we’re ready for your visit.

Come dine, relax, and take in the sunset on the Pier. Take a stroll through our parks or take a cruise on our lake. You’ve spent a few months at home, now it’s time to stretch your legs and take a deep breath.

Let’s enjoy a little break together - you’ve earned it.
