End the work week with live music acts from a wide array of genres and styles.
Grab a seat on the Wave Wall Staircase near the Centennial Wheel and take in live music every Thursday and Friday in June from 3:00pm-8:30pm. With two acts on each date, you can expect an eclectic variety of music performed by solo artists and small ensembles.

Vivian Garcia | 3:00pm - 5:30pm
Vivian Garcia is a Chicago-based singer-songwriter. Her musical journey has taken her from studying rumba flamenca rhythms in Granada, Spain to jamming with international folk musicians in Madrid as well as singing with various bands in Chicago. Vivian has performed at The Taste of Chicago, Metro, Thalia Hall, House of Blues, Double Door, Uncommon Ground as well as World Music Fest, Mole de Mayo, Pilsen Fest, Villapalooza and many local venues. She’s opened for Grammy winners La Santa Cecilia as well as Centavrvs and Amigos Invisibles.
Mike Vinopal | 6:00pm - 8:30pm
Chicago native Mike Vinopal is a music machine, fronting Local Motive, a 7-piece original ensemble in the spirit of the Blues Brothers as well as thrashing about and ripping lead guitar in aggressive indie rock groups Mason’s Case & bad candy. No matter with a band or solo with an acoustic, this man sings from his toes and digs into every note he plays. With uplifting and honest songwriting, Vinopal is a must-see.
