Free live music in the Navy Pier Beer Garden featuring Morry Sochat & The Special 20s, Mike Wheeler, and The Indigo.

Navy Pier’s weekly live music series features Chicago's best bands, along with regional and national acts, who will perform countless genres and styles of popular music every Saturday and Sunday.

SEPTEMBER 4 PERFORMANCE SCHEDULE

Morry Sochat & The Special 20s | 2:00pm - 3:00pm | 3:30pm - 4:30pm

Morry Sochat and The Special 20’s are bringing a fresh sound to the Chicago Blues scene. They mix classic Chicago Blues with Swing and Vintage Rock N’ Roll, into a sound that is all their own. The band is influenced by the best in blues history. Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Louis Jordan, Junior Wells, and all of the Chicago greats.They are one of the premier dance bands in Chicago, so bring your dancing shoes.

Mike Wheeler | 5:30pm - 6:30pm | 7:00pm - 8:00pm

With a vast knowledge of music and a voice that’s reminiscent of the late Sam Cooke, Mike can sing and play everything so well, that you may forget what the original record even sounds like. From jazz to rock, from popular music to Top 40, Mike slides in and out of musical genres with sophistication, ease and indulgence.

Hailing from Birmingham, AL, childhood friends Tanner Gray and Colby Wilson have been writing music together for over 10 years, and the two have drawn inspiration from many genres and eras - The Beatles, The Beach Boys, The Grateful Dead, Vampire Weekend, John Mayer, and Her’s to name a few. The music that comes from Gray and Wilson has always boasted blood harmonies as well as thoughtful, invoking lyrics.
