Humboldt Park Orchestra was created in December of 2013 by trumpeter and bandleader Angel Rodriguez. The band’s mission is to showcase the top salsa musicians and vocalists that Chicago has to offer. Along with Illinois, the band also features talent from Wisconsin and Indiana. The band has made a positive impact on the latin music scene in Chicago and strives to keep salsa music alive and well for all to enjoy. The band is versatile enough to perform the whole history of salsa, from it’s inception to the modern salsa that is currently in fashion. The band has backed up major salsa recording artists as well as up and coming salsa artists and continues to be in high demand for future events. Visit Website
