Free and open to the public! Internationally acclaimed, Chicago-based artist Nick Cave brings his interactive performance installation, The Let Go, to Navy Pier’s Festival Hall this April for its Chicago debut. Following a much-celebrated run in 2018 at the Park Avenue Armory in New York, which also commissioned the work, this dance-based town hall — part art installation, part music venue, and part dance club — is an exciting and engaging opportunity for the community to come and “let go” through dance and movement.
During select hours, a variety of Chicago dance companies, choreographers and organizations will perform, and instigators will lead group dances to liven the crowd. From families and art lovers to adults and children of all ages, all Chicagoans and visiting guests are invited to immerse themselves in The Let Go.
