About the Performers

Sheryl & Say Yes!

SAY YES! was founded by singer/songwriter, Sheryl Youngblood. For 25 years, the Dance band has thrilled audiences across Chicago, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Washington, Peoria and more with their tremendous energy and their proven ability to entertain audiences of all ages. Melding the essence of Soul with Blues, Motown, Latin, Funk, Country, Reggae, Rock & Roll, R&B , Jazz, Disco, Hip-Hop, Dance and even DooWop classics. The excitement that  SAY YES! has created has captured the attention of a rapidly-growing multicultural fan base, both in the greater Chicago area, Northwest Indiana, and many other cities and states. The divers repertoire of the band enables them to headline in many different settings and open for many popular performers, notably The Whispers, The Spaniels, Kindred Family Soul, Raheem Devaughn, performed with Jennifer Hudson and more.

SAY YES! Combines the very best of Blues from KoKo Taylor to BB King, Hip Hop Beyonce to LMFAO, and Rock Out with Rolling Stones to Lady Gaga an Adele. If a little ol’skool is what your hunger for, dance to those all time favorite hits from the 50’s, 60’s, 70’s, 80’s, and 90’s. SAYYES! can also drop a couple of songs from their batch of original tunes.
