About Sonido Gallo Negro

Sonido Gallo Negro to perform a free concert at Navy Pier, part of the inaugural Latin music festival, LatiNxt.

Seven years ago, Sonido Gallo Negro became part of Mexican music culture, mixed with urban life, popular celebrations and the barrio sounds that were part of their day to day existence.

SGN is a nine musician combo comprising Farfisa organ, lead and rhythm guitars, electric bass, timbales, flute, bongos, congas, güiro,Theremin and sampler, which bring into the present a refreshing, mainly instrumental and determinedly festive music proposal.
