Patricia Reyes aka Kinky P is a strictly vinyl reggae DJ artist, originally form Baja California Mexico, where she was first exposed to the sounds of artists like Bob Marley, Inner Circle, UB40, and El General. It wasn’t until she came to Chicago where she was completely hooked by the music of the Dub Masters, King Tubby and Lee Scratch Perry.
LatiNxt presented by Sol is a free festival at Navy Pier featuring local, national and international artists who are exploring new ways of connecting traditional Latin music with modern sounds.
