10:00 am - 8:00 pm

In celebration of Veterans Day, Navy Pier is extending complimentary rides on the Centennial Wheel to U.S. veterans and active duty service members during normal Pier operating hours on Monday, November 11. In order to redeem the offer (one free ride per person), a valid military photo ID must be presented at the Guest Experience Desk, located at the west main entrance of the Fifth Third Bank Family Pavilion.

Navy Pier offers Centennial Wheel tickets at a discounted rate of $15 to U.S. military members all year round. On Veterans Day, family members will also be eligible for the $15 Wheel discount (up to three additional tickets).

More on Veterans Day 2019 at Navy Pier

Navy Pier has historically been linked to the U.S. military as the popular Chicago landmark housed several regiments of soldiers, Red Cross workers and home defense units in World War I and served as a Naval training facility in World War II. As a tribute to Navy personnel who served in World War I, the Pier – originally called Municipal Pier No. 2 – changed its name to Navy Pier in 1927. Navy Pier is proud of its historical connection to the U.S. military and is grateful to the courageous men and women who have served this country domestically and abroad.
