No one does Halloween quite like we do at Navy Pier. When we’re not busy running from zombies on Chicago’s only floating barge haunted house, or holding a hauntingly huge Halloween costume contest, we’re giving away lots of candy during four special nights of Halloween trick-or-treating! We know your family has a hectic schedule, that’s why there’s more than just one night for you to come to the Pier with your children, 12 and under, dressed in their best costumes! Trick-or-treating will occur at the following dates and times:
Friday, October 24: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday, October 25: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Sunday, October 26: 12 p.m. – 4 p.m.
Friday, October 31: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
There will be sweets galore thanks to the Ferrara Candy Company. Navy Pier is proud to have this Chicago-based confection company once again providing delectable treats to all the ghouls and goblins – kids – on the Pier. The Ferrara Candy Company offers candy brands like Lemonhead, Now & Later, Brach’s, Trolli, and more, so bring your sweet tooth!
Will your children have the scariest, most creative, or cutest costumes around? After they’ve collected all the candy they can carry, make sure to enter them into our annual costume contest on Saturday, October 25. Registration opens at 7 p.m. and the contest begins at 8 p.m. for both children and adults. In addition to first, second, and third place prizes, one child or adult will be awarded the grand prize of two-round, main cabin air tickets courtesy of American Airlines.
If you’re not spooked out of Halloween activities after that, check out Amazing Chicago’sFunhouse Maze! The Maze has also been affected by the zombie outbreak, and it won’t be easy getting away from them! The special zombie-infected hours at Amazing Chicago include Thursdays and Sundays, 4:30-8:00 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays, 5:30-10:00 p.m.
Didn’t we promise sweet treats? We’ve got it all when it comes to Halloween at the Pier. See you there!
