Merry Christmas from Navy Pier!

December 25, 2013

Since it is the season to be merry, we wanted to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Navy Pier! We hope you enjoy a holiday filled with friends, family, and good food! We’ve had a fun and eventful year in 2013, and it wouldn’t have been as successful without the support of all of you—coming to enjoy the views of the Pier! This holiday season, don’t forget to share all the Pier has to offer with your family and friends too.

If you’re still hosting guests and relatives this week, bringing them down to the Pier after Christmas is the perfect way to keep them entertained! We have so much to offer that it will be easy to please any age range. When you come to the Pier, the kids will have a great time at the Chicago Children’s Museum. Don’t let the name fool you; there are no artifacts hidden behind glass cases in this museum! The Chicago Children’s Museum is an interactive playground where kids can learn how the world around them works.

While the kids are discovering new things, everyone can catch a movie on the giant screen at Navy Pier’s IMAX Theater! This year the whole family can get lost in the 3D adventure of The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug! The second installment of this trilogy has audiences on the edge of their seats—catch it over the holiday and don’t miss out on the conversation! If you can’t wait until after Christmas, the Navy Pier IMAX is open on Christmas Day and parking is free!

Of course, Winter WonderFest is fun for the whole family! With enough rides and entertainment for everyone, it will be easy to keep the whole family busy in one place. Entry to Winter WonderFest is free, but be sure to pick up your activity wristbands to participate in the rides!

After all that excitement, everyone will be starving! Grab dinner at one of the many renowned restaurants at the Pier to round out a fun-filled day!

What’s your favorite family activity at Navy Pier?
