Family Pavilion Stage

July 16, 2012

Anchored by the 50,000-square-foot Chicago Children’s Museum and Navy Pier’s 440- seat large-screen IMAX Theater, the Family Pavilion is also home to 40,000 square feet of exciting restaurants and retail shops! This summer Navy Pier offers so much you and your family can enjoy at the Family Pavilion Stage!

Jammin with the Jellies

Navy Pier plays host to Chicago’s only all-day, all-ages party! A brand new scenic in

stallation invites everyone into a uniquely interactive underwater world. Decorative aquatic plants, reefs, and of course giant jellyfish provide the perfect photo-op! In addition to the dance party, the Shedd Aquarium has extended their popular Jellies exhibit and Navy Pier is giving away FREE general admission and Jellies exhibit tickets to qualified guests!

Performing on the Clamshell Stage on Thursdays through Sundays, the H2Orchestra cranks out high-energy live music!

DJ Dance Party

On Wednesday, Friday and Saturday nights, our DJ’s spin all the best beats! The whole family will be moving along with everything from the limbo to the locomotion to today’s most popular line dances!

Pop-Up Performances

In addition, strolling Pop-Up Performers entertain outside along the Dock on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, featuring stilt-walking, balloon art, juggling, unicycle riding, close-up magic and more!

Puppets in the Park

On Sundays from 1:00 to 4:00 pm, our inaugural season of “Puppets in the Park” take place at Pier Park, right beside the carousel. Enjoy Chicago’s own Dave Herzog’s Marionettes in this whimsical outdoor spectacle!

Family Fun Nights

Back again this summer for an exclusive Thursday night engagement, the Radio Disney Road Crew keeps the party going. Contests, prizes, music and fun are the hallmarks of this crowd favorite. Family Fun Nights will continue every Thursday of the month from 6 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. July 5, 12, 19, and 26. And on August 2, 9!
