Join Navy Pier in kicking off the fifth annual #ChicagoDanceMonth with an opening celebration on Monday, April 3 from 6 pm to 7:15 pm in the Aon Grand Ballroom.

Featuring performances from Giordano Dance II, Natya Dance Theater, Culture Shock Chicago, and Ayodele Drum and Dance, the evening will also include a conversation with HAMILTON co-dance captains and company members Yossi Chaikin and Gabriella Sorrentino, moderated by HMS Media Executive Producer, Scott Silberstein. This event is FREE but reservations are requested.

After the performance, chat with the artists during a reception of delightful drinks and appetizers at Navy Pier’s newest gastropub: Tiny Tavern. Tickets to the reception are limited but are still available for $50 here.

Organized by See Chicago Dance and Audience Architects, Chicago Dance Month was created in order to showcase the culturally rich dance community of Chicago. Aside from the dozens of dance performances taking place across Chicago in April, dance fans are encouraged to participate in the Open Doors, Open Spaces, a free program inviting the public to open rehearsals, classes, and more.

Navy Pier is joined by Block 37, Broadway in Chicago, the Chicago Park District, the City of Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events, Navy Pier and Wintrust Bank as a proud sponsor of this year’s Chicago Dance Month.
