New Attraction Alert! Jet Skis at the Pier

You’re probably familiar with the many outdoor activities available at Navy Pier. You can take in a tour of Chicago by boat, bike, or Segway, catch a movie at the IMAX Theatre, or hop aboard one of the sailboats for a pirate themed ride around the lake – the possibilities are endless! If you think you’ve done it all, think again. Navy Pier has added a whole new element to our many tour options – a Jet Ski tour!

On a hot summer day at the Pier, there’s no better way to cool off than in the refreshing waters of Lake Michigan. We bet you’ve never experienced Chicago from this vantage point. This 30 minute tour takes you around the outer limits of the city so you can take in the breathtaking views of skyscrapers and some of Chicago’s best known landmarks, including the Adler Observatory and the Shedd Aquarium, all from the freedom of a Jet Ski. You won’t be restricted by the barriers of a boat here. It’s just you, the water, the city, and a life vest (naturally).

Jet Skis at the Pier is a licensed rental company and is located at the entrance to the south dock of Navy Pier. The tours are available 7 days a week from 10:30 a.m. until sundown, running now through September 30. Jet Skis at the Pier is subject to weather conditions to ensure the best tour possible! Each Jet Ski can seat two people, but if you’d rather fly solo, that’s fine too, you adventurous devil, you.

While you’re at the Pier, make a day of it! After you’ve worked up an appetite zipping around Lake Michigan, head to one of the many restaurants at Navy Pier for a relaxing dinner. From there, you can see the jaw-dropping Cirque Shanghai Warriors at the Pepsi Skyline Stage through September 1.

To reserve your spot on a tour today, you can call 312.480.5353 or visit www.jetskisatthepier.com for more information. For updates on water conditions or closures due to weather, follow Jet Skis at the Pier on Twitter @JetSkisatPier.
